Atelier Nagel
The atelier is a three-story cubic volume adjacent to a late 19th-century villa. The new building connects to the villa via a staircase constructed of galvanized steel and glass, allowing for the entry of indirect natural light into both the villa and the new atelier while serving as the entry point to both spaces. It is characterized by a structure of galvanized steel, featuring perforations to establish connections between levels and facilitate the ingress of natural light. Some glass walls are movable to accommodate varying degrees of privacy. Additionally, the renovation of the villa's terrace was undertaken concurrently, configuring it as an overlook onto the garden.
