Pasaia metro link park
Although a routine journey for many, the route from Trintxerpe to the metro station posed significant dangers, navigating through obstacles. Crossing the road used by trucks accessing the port, traversing amidst warehouses with limited visibility and safety, and ascending a steep incline were all part of the challenge. This infrastructure project aims to replace this hazardous route with a new, enjoyable, and safe one. Through extensive earthworks and the construction of a new footbridge, a park has been developed at the Euskotren station level, providing a secure link between Trintxerpe and the metro, while safely spanning over the access road to the port. This strategic urban infrastructure initiative has successfully reclaimed natural space for the community's leisure and enjoyment, addressing the scarcity of such areas due to the area's configuration and topography.
